These characteristics give you the greatest efficiency available from any iodine source. </p> <p>Iomate 100 and Iomate EDDideal are much easier and safer to handle than calcium iodate, Eddi or feed grade potassium iodide. High blood serum levels for prolonged periods of time are key to the efficient use of iodine by the animal. Unlike calcium iodate, which is not fully utilized by animal, Iomate 100 offers both high blood serum levels and prolonged serum levels. Simply overfeeding an additive like calcium iodate will not provide the solution to the problem as simply as feeding Iomate 100.</p> <p><strong>No Demixing: </strong>IOMATE 100 distributes easily and well in nearly all feed and premix materials, and is quite resistant to demixing during operations subsequent to blending.</p> <p><strong>Highly Stable: </strong>Other iodine additives react violently when added to mineral premixes or feed rations, and lose expensive iodine to the atmosphere. This iodine loss means some animals are shortchanged. IOMATE 100 has a unique carrier that provides a completely stable iodine additive, and you will receive complete iodine content in your feed or mineral premix. High blood serum levels and prolonged high blood serum levels are key to efficient use of iodine by the animal.  EDDideal is the most effective way to achieve both goals, and do so safely and easily.</p> <p><strong>No Demixing: </strong>Typical iodine additives will separate or “demix” after being added to mineral mixtures or feed, due to the extremely fine crystal size.  So, some animals get lots of iodine, others can get little or none.
